Hi everyone. I wanted to jump on here and let you know a little bit about what is going on. Mostly because I suspect it might look like I have lost my mind if I don’t.
While I often work on series, I get routinely attacked by Plot bunnies in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes I need a break from a series because I need to let new characters run through my head. Sometimes I have a story idea in my head that won’t let go. Sometimes I need more time to think through one of my series plots and write something else while I let an idea marinate. The thing is, I am still writing even when it isn’t on a series book.
As a result I have a lot of manuscripts I have filed away. Some are short stories, some novellas, and some are stand alone books. I think I even have an entire novella series that I wrote stashed away. In addition, there are other projects like the Fifteen Minute Novel where I spent a hunk a chunka of a year working on a book. Many times I go back and work on turning it into a proper manuscript.
Which then gets stashed away.
All of these get stashed in the files instead of getting released. And so I have decided to start filtering them out into the real world. I will still be working on my various series, but in between those releases I will be editing and releasing all sorts of random things. Some I will drag into the light and decided not to release at all, burying them permanently, others will be sent off into the world. I have no idea how many that will be in the end and have no real schedule for it, nor do I know how long the release will last.
We will all find out together.
I will still be working on series books, but there will also be other book release notifications between them, the first coming right after I post this. Let the file clearing begin!
