Morning all I hope you have had a fabulous week. Mine was a bit more than I expected. A lot of it really good, but still a bit much. I am quite ready to welcome a weekend. We are still on the writing portion of the challenge and it is April so we have a setting/description based writing exercise.
Task #79 – Writing Exercise – Pick a place. Any place. Now have a person spend a lazy day in this place. They are off work, or released from duties for the day. They could be a visitor who has nothing planned for this day, or they could be a local with an unexpected day to themselves. Whether they stay within one set of four walls, or a yard, or walk from one end of a village to the other, describe what they see and do on this ordinary and lazy day off as though it were the most important scene in your story Focus on the details as though this scene was what your plot depended on. Use as many senses as you can and be as detailed.
As always, happy writing.
