Good morning everyone. In addition to the writing for the novel challenge, we have writing exercises. May is focused on dialogue. So as you write along with your own schedule, here is a writing exercise for you to play around with.
Task #89 – writing exercise – Two people are planning a trip. It has multiple components each with more than one option. You can decide what those options are but your characters need to discuss them. Do they both want to swim with the dolphins or does one want to ride rollercoasters? Are they arguing between horseback writing on a ranch or visiting a major city and taking in shows? Or have they decided to go to the city but have options for things to do? It can be an amiable discussion where they have to whittle down the list of activities they can do, or they can each want separate things and it can be an acrimonious fight. How you play it is your call.
As always, happy writing.
