New Release: Thorne and Magic

And the new releases continue. I mentioned a while ago that I was going through files and releasing novels, short stories and novellas that I have stashed away. I am aiming for one around the middle of the month released until the files are clear in case you are wondering. I’m not sure how many there are over all and how many of them are worthy of being released. Today we have one that I found fun to write. It is the first in a short Novella series (At the moment I believe there are five novellas to this series, although as I was editing I did get a few more ideas for Adventures with Hazel Thorne so it is possible there will be more). Today however we have the release of the first in the Novella Series: Thorne and Magic. It is now available on Amazon and Smashwords.

Hazel Thorne tries to keep quiet and not make waves.  After all, she can’t mention the strange things she sees if she doesn’t say anything, right? After all, what she is seeing can’t be real. She knows lawn gnomes aren’t spearfishing in the city ponds and tiny blue men aren’t using mouse skin robes for concealment as they sneak down alleyways.  She tells herself they aren’t real, but the list of can’t be real is growing and something is changing.

She could feel it in her bones.

She just isn’t certain what to do about it until a shape shifting cat tries to warn her of impending danger. Magic is real and someone is stalking those with magic in their blood, draining them of power and life. Can Hazel survive to use her magic or will she be listed among the fallen?
