Morning all, writing continues and so to the dialogue based writing exercises. Personally I always like these as I tend to, in first drafts, write what the conversation is about and then in edits I have to go back and break the conversation out into actual dialogue. So let’s jump into today’s exercise shall we?
Task #97 – Writing Exercise – Someone is getting sick and there is a discussion about it. This one can be written in a multitude of ways. Someone could be getting a cold and not wanting to admit it is anything, pushing through and working even though others can see they need to rest. It could be two friends talking of another’s terminal illness. It could be two people in an office worried about someone else’s dripping nose and the likelihood of catching what they’ve got. How you write it is up to you, but get at least two people talking.
