We have reached the last day of our posted writing tasks. Am I done? Not quite actually. I will be finishing up the last chapter either this afternoon or this weekend. I am so close but not quite there. I tried really hard to get there and probably rushed over things I needed to take more time on to try and get the draft done, but I’m just not quite there. Which is fine. I had more interruptions to my writing schedule than I planned. I always do. I plan in a positive mindset. I always add in a number of non-writing days but there is always something that sort of knocks into my plans with a demented giggle. This time around it was emergency dentistry. I could have lived without that interruption.
The point is that even though Monday we will be officially shifting out of the scheduled writing tasks, if you haven’t completed your draft that is fine. I’m posting a task a day, but we are all writing and working on our own schedules. My tale needs a little more time, but it is nearly there and I can almost taste the ending. Soon…sooon.
