You know I love to think that I go through a story in a logical way. The characters do A and then they learn B so this leads them to do C. It is always humbling to go through the first draft and see that no, Indeed they Started at A then jumped to Q which I did somehow make flow for logical reasons before I realized that by jumping they didn’t learn B so I have them learn B but didn’t really cover how so I have to go back and invent ab A and a half do that mystical knowledge has not just floated down from above when people were sleeping.
That is really today’ task., to wiggle the logical in so things make sense To have knowledge come from an actual place instead of an alien dropping it down like a passing care package. Metaphorically of course, its more fantasy than sci fi. But that is over all today’s test. Or my test anyway. Good luck with whatever plot mosters you have to wrangle.
