Well we have made it to the last day of our second week of resting the manuscript. It makes me feel twitchy to know it is there and that it needs editing, but I know my edits will be better if I wait. And we have only one more week of waiting. So almost there. For now, you know what is coming.
Task #121: That’s right we turn our attention to another idea. I am working through a bunch of old writing prompts and putting the teasers of ideas they raise into very basic mini- outlines. If you have ideas floating around to use, feel free. If you want an idea sparked, Maybe pick one of the posted prompts, set the timer for fifteen minutes and see what comes out. The goal is to keep your brain from obsessing about the story we are allowing to rest. If you are working on a story outline, the points for the mini outline are below, just add one sentence for each.
