If you are looking for a writing exercise…
The goal is to keep this piece of writing under 200 words. Write the scene, be concise and detailed but mind your word count (the exercise is designed to help you tighten up your writing and really think about what you want to say.)
A necklace breaks.
It can be the start, the end or even a metaphor you use in a small piece of writing if you want. Just use it as a guide in some way for your less than 200 word scene.
