The 2026 Novel Writing Challenge: My Task # 139

I had a bit of a kerfuffle midway through the chapter, mostly because I changed something earlier and forgot, so I added a reference. Then I wasn’t sure I did remove it so I had to flip through earlier chapters to double check that I did in fact remove it. Mostly because I confused myself. Luckily I am editing on paper and as I finish the editing of each chapter I punch holes in the edges of the pages and put it into a binder. So I have all the edited chapters handy. Always nice to keep the current version handy. If you have more than one copy, I suggest adding the dates of edits just to make sure you are working through the most recent draft. While we are going chapter by chapter it can be handy if you take an unexpected break. As I only have one paper copy it is fairly easy for me. I will also send pages to the recycler after I have put all the edits into the computer, Which also lets me keep track of where my edits are. But dates really help.
