Writing Exercise: Currently we are taking objects and not only describing them in as much detail as we can but we are giving them intense meaning. Sometimes the description sparks the meaning, sometimes we have a meaning in mind and adjust the description to fit the meaning we want. So pick whichever one you want first.
Today’s object…A necklace
Is it a locket with a secret? Is the real meaning the broken chain or an engraved initial on the back? Is it the key to a mystery or the sign of a struggle? All of that is up to you. Think about how to use the object and make it your own in a situation of your choosing.
