The 2026 Novel Writing Challenge: My Task #147

As I am two chapters ahead today was my Chapter 23 edit and I did have to focus a bit more. I am starting to begin my approach to the point where the separate elements tie together and some of the transitions were a bit wobbly. I thought they were fabulous when I wrote them and on my first edit, but this is why I have to set things aside for a few weeks. I can now see the missing bits more clearly. But I think I’ve filled them in now. It will be interesting to see the flow during my whole manuscript read through.
