Morning all. Today we are going to be editing Chapter 25 on the schedule. I know a lot of you may only have twenty five chapters in your manuscript so if you do I would suggest finishing your edits today and then taking a break from editing next week then coming back for the week of full manuscript edits. I also know some of you have more than thirty chapters and even though we are only going to post thirty chapters worth of editing, don’t feel the crunch to keep up, edit at your own pace. That being said…
Task #151: Edit your Chapter 25
And for today’s writing exercise we have another object (as we will be doing these exercises through the end of August) As you know it is a two part-er. Describe the object in as much detail as you can and make it vitally important in some way to your story, even if it is just a story idea made up for this exercise.
Today’s Object…a key
Does it unlock a door? A drawer? Is it taped to the underside of a desk or hidden under a flowerpot? Wherever it is found and whatever it goes to make certain that it is vitally important to your story.
As always, happy writing.
