Writing exercise: Take the object below and describe it in detail. Then give it meaning in your story.
Today’s object…ash
It could be in a fireplace where no fire should be. Maybe it is in an ash tray when no one smokes in the house it could be a burned letter or an old cigar. Think about what type of ash it is and what it can tell you.
