The 2026 Novel Writing Challenge: My Task #162

My manuscript is a contemporary fantasy. (I know I planned to go sword and sorcery type at the beginning but this manuscript morphed complete as a wrote it). I do have several readers who enjoy that. I do have a complicated family dynamic in the story and I do know someone with a social working background who also likes to read fantasy who I might actually ask to be one of my readers specifically for that reason. While I do have my list of three together for this, I won’t be posting names here I just wanted to kind of go over why I am putting certain folks on the list. I have three and while all three read the genre, one had family expertise that could come in handy to make certain the emotions of that dynamic play well. Whether they all agree to read I will see later, but I do have the list.
