Morning all. I hope you had a fabulous weekend. And that you had time to look over the sections you wrote about your world, main character and your story idea. Because today we are jumping in to the start of Act 1.
The First Act is comprised of three main portions, The Status Quo, The Inciting Incident, and the first major plot point. We are going to go into each of them in greater detail in their sections but today is all about the status quo.
Task #170 (Nano #4): Write about the Status Quo
Here is where we learn what normal looks like for our main character. So go ahead and tell us what is their norm before the exciting bits happen to throw them into the story we plan to tell?
