Good morning everyone. We are starting to break out our story idea so that we can use it for November. It starts with the breaking out of the three acts. We made it through the Plot Point 2 which means that today we start the third act. There are only two parts to the third act the Climax and the Denouement. Today, we look at the Climax. We have built up our story to this point. We have shown the obstacles and enemies out main character must face and now it all comes together. The main conflict of your story is finally addressed. After trying to compromise, does tour character decide it is time to just move forward with his plans and deal with the resulting ramifications as they progress? Or having moved the villagers and their sheep to a safe place is it time to face the dragon in his den?
Whatever your story, this is the place where that central conflict has to be met head on. So tell us what that is and what the battle (whether actual or figurative) looks like.
