Good morning everyone we are moving forward with our Nanowrimo preparation. Because of my planned chapter break out my chapter five is where I start Act 2. That is always where the fun begins. The set up is complete. we know who our main character is and how they get launched into the meat of the story and now it is time to launch them in. We also get to put them through all sorts of trials and tribulations. not so nice to do in the real world but in fiction it is necessary. After all no one really wants to read a story about a happy and fulfilled person who gets everything they ever wanted with absolutely no effort or heartache and ends the story exactly the same as when they started. those aren’t fun to read and they certainly aren’t fun to write. So for the good of fiction, we must throw obstacles into our hero’s path. We must cause plans to go awry and if we do the job well then they might even come out the other end a different person.
And so today’s task…
Task #183 (Nano #17): Write a one to two sentence description of your chapter 5. Be sure to add bullet points for things you want to include in this chapter. Those things can be items a character has to pack in their bag, a piece of information they need before they start, or even a conversation they need to have or an event that needs to happen. Also add any resources you will need while working on this section.(As well as where you might have stashed them – like file names or even physical locations such as left hand drawer or corkboard)
