Morning all. I hope you are having a wonderful morning thus far. Today I am adding 1763 words to my tally. We are rapidly reaching the end of April and it is time to look at May’s schedule. For the Novel writing challenge I have writing scheduled through May. Then we will move on to additional tasks. I am hoping that I have a complete draft then and I hope you do as well. But we each have our own schedules (Don’t worry the tasks are flexible even if you haven’t finished your draft. The challenge is the process of pulling a novel together and we each have our own pace.)
My schedule will be switching up for May. In March I had an easy time finding an hour in the evenings to write. It was up and down throughout April and I think for May I am going to shift it to the morning on the days where I know I have something going on in the evening. I think it is going to float more rather than be a set time, which to be honest I don’t always do well with. I am one of those people that if i make it a habit I am fine, but if there is not a routine rhythm to it, I can sometimes forget. So I am typing up and printing out the scheduled times and making myself physically mark them off with a pen when I have them complete. For me this helps. And the single page can always go in the recycling when I am done. It isn’t elaborate but it is kind of the way I keep things on track. Hopefully as you look at your May you will come up with some sort of schedule that works for you.
