The 2026 Novel Writing Challenge: My Task #83

Last night’s writing did not go as planned. I sat down and before I could add a single word, the phone rang with a call I couldn’t ignore. It led to a series of calls that led well past my hour long writing schedule. Again, this is why in May the bulk of my writing time is being switched to the morning. But there are sadly no words added to the word count today. Mostly because I made a plan and God laughed. Here’s hoping, God, the universe and familial based calls will be happier with my May writing schedule. See you tomorrow.
