Good morning everyone I hope you are feeling good today as we reach out Thursday. Thursday always feels a bit rushed like we are coming down off the Wednesday slope and hitting faster speeds until we crash into the end of the week. I always start off Thursday by feeling that I won’t get everything I want to get done finished in the time I have left. By Friday it will have all smoothed out , but Thursday mornings…Regardless we are here for the morning writing challenge. If you are writing I hope you are keeping to your schedule. During this time we also have a writing exercise posted. May we are concentrating on dialogue so I post the set up and you get people talking.
Task #88 – Writing Exercise – Something has been stolen. It could be a small and treasured keepsake. It could be the television set. It could be something on the absurd side like a lawn gnome or every blue flower in the flowerbed from every yard in the neighborhood. Whether it is a small personal theft or neighborhood-wide vandalism, get three people involved in the conversation about the theft. It could be a policeman with two witnesses with conflicting observations. It could be three neighbors comparing notes. Just make three people talk about the theft.
As always, happy writing.
