Soon the writing phase will come to an end. But for now, we are still writing and it is time for another dialogue writing exercise.
Task #100 – Writing Exercise – Someone has just returned home after a long trip. It could be a vacation, it could be an extended work trip or even a family emergency. Let’s say for the purpose of this exercise that they were gone from their home environment for over a month. This is their first day back. Have them talk to someone. It could be about the trip. It could be catching up on what they missed. It could be a general conversation between friends or the conversation that makes them realize they no longer belong in this place they still think of as home. The conversation and it’s implications are up to you.
