This is a story about Ash Agnello, who starts off carrying a weight of guilt and blame others put on her, then discovers she was never at fault and the world isn’t what she believes it to be before finally recalibrating her worldview and realizing she is actually stronger than those who wanted to destroy and use her.
Not quite what I started with, but I rather like how that worked out.
