Morning all. While we are still letting our manuscript sit this week it is time to do a little pre editing thinking. While doing the mini outlines has reminded me just how many prompts I want to go back to there are, it is time to move on and so…
Task #122: Write one sentence that describes your manuscript.
We started with something like this at the beginning of out outline. For a lot of people this will be the same thing. For others it may have changed. I would suggest not looking at the previous one sentence description you started with when you write this. You can look later as it is always fun to see how things might have changed from the start, but wait until you write this one.
This is a story about ________, who starts off _____, then _____and _____ before finally____.
Just fill in the blanks and tell everyone what your story is about. Or at least remind yourself about what story you wrote. It actually helps to remember this before we start the editing.
As always, happy writing.
