Morning everyone. Our set up for the national Novel Writing Month continues. While the Task numbers are in sequence with the challenge we have been doing all year, I have put the Nano task number below as well in case you are just tuning in and want to set yourself up for nanowrimo and the November writing challenge. Today is Nano #16 if you want to scroll back through the posts to catch the fifteen earlier Nano posts.
Task #182 (Nano #16): Write out a one or two sentence description of what occurs in Chapter 4 of your outline. Be sure to add bullet points of what you want to cover or mention in this chapter along with any reference material.
I have set up my project to have 25 chapters which means that for me Chapter 4 is the end of Act 1. If this is the case with your set up, remember that the end of Act 1 leads the story into the rising action of Act 2. Remember the break out for the parts of the story are usually 25% for Act 1, 50% for Act 2 and then 25% for Act 3. Also remember that this is a manuscript we are trying to write a first draft of in a 30 day timespan.
